Billing page and revamped invoice details page

Another milestone for the new Reepay Admin! Version 0.9.0 is released which includes several new pages and many improvements 🚀

First of all, we have a brand new Billing page, which can be found under the new Settings menu item together with Account, Team, and Application. Here you will be able to adjust your billing details under contact information and organisation information. You also have the option to change your plan, add a payment method and see previous invoices. See the screenshot below.

Second, we have revamped the invoice details page with more information and better structure. You have the option to settle and refund by order lines as well as see payment sessions, timelines, and more customer information.

Please check it out! We welcome feedback with open arms 🙌

Payment methods page and new customizable columns

Wuhu! Version 0.8.0 is released and we have finalized our new Payment Methods page. In the old admin, this page is called Acquiring. Our new Payment Methods page has received a huge redesign, which makes it easier to set up new payment methods. Our guides at https://help.reepay.com/en/knowledge will be updated as soon as possible.

In addition to the new Payment Methods page, we have a new feature for you. Many of you have asked to rearrange the columns in our different listview and that is now possible with our customizable columns. Head into your account and try it out under either customers or invoices.

PSD2 and Strong Customer Authentication

The deadline for PSD2 is approaching, which means Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) will become mandatory within the EU. Danish issuers will require SCA by January 11, 2021. For details on PSD2 and SCA see: https://docs.reepay.com/reference#strong-customer-authentication

Reepay will make sure all accounts are ready for SCA by enabling 3D Secure and/or Secured by Nets on those accounts not already using SCA.

The newest version of 3D Secure (version 2) supports a frictionless authentication flow, where the customer is not presented with any challenges (two-factor authentication). For issuing banks to make a decision on whether a frictionless authentication can be granted, they will need information about the customer and the context of the payment. Some of this data is provided by Reepay, e.g. customer browser information, but some of the data needs to be provided by you the merchant.

The data is not mandatory, but we urge you to consider sending the additional information to maximize the chance of a frictionless authentication flow. For details on sending SCA data see: https://docs.reepay.com/reference#strong-customer-authentication

Merry Christmas, Reepay

Checkout optional save card

It is now possible to let the customer choose whether to save card in a charge session instead of fixing this for the session with the recurring parameter. When creating a session the following parameters can now be used:

  • recurring_optional - If defined it will be the default selection for a save card checkbox. That is, if set to true the option will be default selected, and vice versa for false.
  • recurring_optional_text - Can be used to control the label for the checkbox. The default is "Save card".

Example with recurring_optional=true and the default label:

If the customer chooses to save card, the payment_method parameter will be returned from the session and the charge object (https://reference.reepay.com/api/#the-charge-object) will have the attribute recurring_payment_methodFor details see the create charge session API call: https://docs.reepay.com/reference#createchargesession

Cheers, Reepay

SCA support in hosted pages and Reepay Token

In preparation for the coming PSD2 regulatory changes (September 14th), Reepay hosted pages and Reepay Token now supports Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) (3D Secure and Dankort Secured by Nets).

No action is required by you as a merchant. SCA will be enabled by us for all merchants, not already using SCA for Checkout, before September 14th.

New user groups

User groups in the administration have been changed to better accommodate for the needs of our customers. The new user groups are more intuitive as they more closely relates to the functionality accessible in the left menu. It is also possible to define more fine grained permissions, e.g. whether specifically refunding is allowed. The screendump below shows the new user group edit dialog.
